Being the biggest state of India, Rajasthan is home to people of different tribes, ethnicities and religion. From its desert to its charming cities you will encounter people from different walks of life, villagers with their colorful turbans, artisans keeping their age old family art alive, former aristocrats while still visiting the most beautiful sites of North India.
You will discover the great architecture of the Mughal period and admire the mural paintings of old Havelis in the Shekhawati region with a specialist. At the door of the Thar desert, wander in the labyrinth like streets of Bikaner. Discover the emblematic cities of Rajasthan and experience their distinct charm: Jodhpur, the "Blue city" and Udaipur the "Venice of the East". Get to know more about the animal loving Bishnoi community and other inhabitants of the desert. Discover the second largest wall in the world after China in Kumbalgarh before heading to Jaipur via the holy city of Pushkar. Like thousands of devotees, offer your prayers to the Sufi shrine of Ajmer and experience an unbeatable fervor. At dawn, explore the Pink city with an original cycling experience which will you lead you in the by lanes of the city, closer to the local community. Walk up to the magnificent Amber Palace and tour the hidden treasures of its old town. At sunrise discover the Taj Mahal and see one of the world's most beautiful monuments.

Day 1-2 | Old Delhi and New Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. Your private driver will pick you up. We can adjust the program according to the time of your arrival.
You will start your day with a guided Slum tour, getting to know about the challenging lives of its inhabitants with a strong sense of community is enriching and perspective shifting for many. This is followed up by a guided tour which takes you into the magical Mughal era: Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lodhi Gardens. Over night at Hotel.
Day 3 | Fatehpur, Shekhawati

After breakfast, drive to the Shekhawati region in Rajasthan.
Far less visited than other parts of Rajasthan, the Shekhawati region is renowned for its extraordinary painted havelis (ornately decorated residences). During the heyday of the Silk road, these were once the homelands of wealthy traders and merchants. Day 4 | Fatehpur - Bikaner

After a yoga session in the morning, head to Bikaner.
Bikaner will give you a taste of the arabian nights, it is a vibrant, dust-swirling desert town with a fabulous fort and an energising outpost feel! It’s less dominated by tourism than many other Rajasthan cities. Take a guided walking tour in the labyrinth of the narrow, winding streets, get to know more its opulent past, admire its fine havelis and visit the Junagarh fort.

Day 6 | Bikaner - Jodhpur

Today you will drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City. It is a memorable sight to face the majestic Fort of Mehrangarh, made of red sandstone, towering the old blue city. Wander on arrival in the old city, a jumble of Brahmin-blue narrow alleys, fortified by a 16th-century city wall. Indulge yourself in the poetic atmosphere of these medieval streets and the hustle bustle of the markets and bazaars near the Clock Tower. Overnight in a beautiful Haveli away from the city. Enjoy the hospitality of your passionate aristocrat host. Get to know more about the Rajput traditions, local crafts, gorgeous traditional art forms and maybe listen to local musicians on residence.
Day 7 | Jodhpur - Rohet
1h drive (40 km)
After breakfast on the terrasse of your hotel visit the Mehrangarh fort and learn about the history of the Fortress and the customs of its Rajput rulers. The height of the ramparts, the chiseled architecture and the beauty of the interiors will leave you a memorable souvenir. After your visit you will head to your heritage stay in Rohet, an hour away. Rest and leave later for a jeep safari in the surrounding villages. Meet the ‘Premier ecologists of the world’, the Bishnois, who have protected nature for more than 500 years and are responsible for the very survival of species.They share a beautiful relationship with this special animal, You will also meet the Raikas (shepherds) with their glorious costumes, the Pliwals and Meghwals and the Brahmin farmers and weavers.

Day 8 | Rohet - Ranakpur - Udaipur
3-4h drive (270 km)
Leave in the morning to Udaipur. En route visit the magnificent temples of Ranakpur (90km) Finely carved in white marble, It is the largest Jain sanctuary of India. Learn about Jainism and admire this work of art built at the end of the XV century.
On your way to Udaipur, "the Venice of the East", drive on beautiful roads through the Aravalli Mountains. A fabulous landscape of buffalo wells, fields and ancestral farming techniques.
Check into your Haveli hotel and have dinner lakeside with a fascinating view of the City Palace. Overnight at haveli hotel.
Day 9 | Udaipur
The White city was founded in the XVI century by the Prince Udai Singh. It is the capital of the Mewar Kingdom who proudly kept resisting against the Mughal invadors. You will know more about its history by visiting the superb City Palace distinct by its lustrous white color. Explore the “Venice of the East” by boat as well and sail around the Lake Pichola surrounded by peaks of the Aravalli range. Walk in the old district, enter temples and be a witness of a Rajasthani folk dance performance in an picturesque setting. Overnight in a haveli.
Day 10 | Kumbalgarh
2-3h drive (270 km)
Enjoy the view on the lake for your last breakfast in Udaipur and take it slow before leaving to a nearby off the beaten track destination, Kumbalgarh. It is a majestic fort built in the XV century. Standing on the ramparts of the fort, Iook down at its massive 20-foot-thick outer wall which snakes over the hills for 36 km and get an idea of the defense system of this era. It is billed as being second only to the Great Wall of China!

Day 11 | Pushkar - Jaipur

Leave the city early for a long day ahead. On your way to Jaipur the Pink city, and capital of the state make a stop for lunch in Pushkar. Enjoy the peculiar ambiance of one of the holiest city of India as it is the home of the only Bhrama temple in the world. Meet your guide for lunch and while eating on a rooftop overlooking the lake, watch flows of devotees bathing near the ghats.
Before leaving for Jaipur, offer prayers at the Sufi shrine of Ajmer, and witness an intense religious fervour.

Day 13 | Jaipur
Start your day with an early morning cycle tour in the old city. See its monuments, explore its vegetable and flower markets, enter temples filled with music and have a traditional breakfast in an Indian home.
Go on with your visits on foot with your private guide and discover the City Palace and the Astronomical Observatory before heading to the former capital of Rajasthan, Amber. En route make a stop to admire the Water Palace. Enjoy a lunch in an Indian family at the bottom of the magnificent fort and get to know more about this bygone era. Visit the Fort and get on a heritage walk in the century old town filled with temples and historic structures. Overnight at your hotel
Day 14 | Jaipur - Agra
Meet a dynamic mother of two and keen foodie this morning. Let her take you into her daily life, follow her in local vegetable market, grocers and spice shops. Learn about the rich vegetarian Rajasthan cuisine from an aficionado. Prepare local dishes under her guidance and have lunch with what you have made.
Your driver will pick you up after your lunch and take you to Agra.

Day 15 | Agra - Delhi

Get up early to visit one of the seventh wonders of the world. At sunrise, the marble of the Taj Mahal encrusted with precious stones is shaded with golden tones. This tomb was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jehan in the image of his deceased queen: let your private guide tell you the major tale of love behind this iconic monument.
After breakfast head back to Delhi. Depending on flight time, overnight in Delhi hotel before international departure.
