Day 1 | Old Delhi and New Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. Your private driver will pick you up. We can adjust the program according to the time of your arrival.
Start your day by visiting New Delhi and its beautiful heritage which takes you into the magical Mughal era: Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lodhi Gardens. In the late afternoon meet your guide for an Old Delhi walk through its historic sites and the hustle bustle of its old markets. Get a sense of Delhi's vivacity and why the "Walled City" is its heart.
Day 3 | Delhi - Agra
4-5h drive (250 km)
After breakfast leave for Agra.
In Agra join your guide for a visit of the Red fort, the Baby taj and heritage walking tour in the old part of the city. Enter an age old Shiva temple filled with singing devotees, admire one of the biggest mosque of India, stroll in the various bazaars.
At sunset get a unique boat ride on the Yamuna River to admire the Taj Mahal. Over night at the hotel.
Day 4 | Agra -Jaipur

Get up early to visit one of the seventh wonders of the world and discover one of the highlight of your trip! At sunrise, the marble of the Taj Mahal encrusted with precious stones is shaded with golden tones. This tomb was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jehan in the image of his deceased queen: let your private guide tell you the major tale of love behind this iconic monument.

Day 5 | Jaipur, the Pink city
Start your day with an early morning cycle tour in the old city. See its monuments, learn about its royal past while visiting the Maharaja's cenotaphs, explore its vegetable and flower market, enter the city Palace temple and have a breakfast in an haveli. Go on with your visits on foot with your private guide and discover the City Palace and the incredible Astronomical Observatory before heading to the former capital of Rajasthan, Amber. En route make a stop to admire the Water Palace. Enjoy a lunch in an Indian family at the bottom of the magnificent fort and get to know more about this bygone era. Visit the Fort and get on a heritage walk in the century old town filled with temples and historic structures. Indulge yourself with an Ayurvedic massage before going back to your hotel. Overnight at your haveli.
Day 6 | Jaipur - Pondicherry

Rest this morning or go for some shopping: Jaipur is home to beautiful textile, jewellry and pottery. Take a flight in the afternoon and brace yourself for a totally different atmosphere!
On arrival, your private driver will welcome you to Tamil Nadu and take you directly to Pondicherry, the former French colony. Arrive at your charming villa.

Day 7 | Pondicherry
After breakfast meet your private guide in the courtyard of your hotel. Discover together this charming city of bright colors and its different communities and quarters. Explore "Black town", the Tamul part with its animated fish and vegetable market, pay a visit to the Lakshmi temple and be greeted by an elephant at the entrance. Enjoy the shady streets and the breeze coming from the sea front in the old French Quarter. The French influence is still visible through the architecture the street names and the checkered town plan. You are in another era!
In the evening, enjoy the lively seafront. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 | Pondicherry - Chennai - Kochi
3h drive (150km)
After breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram, the ancient Pallava dynasty capital. Discover the gigantic low relief representing the « Descent of the Ganges », and the magnificent temples, spread in the village and along the coast. Continuation towards Chennai to catch up your night train to Kerala. Get ready for an exciting experience on board of an Indian train, they are full of life!

Day 9 | Kochi - Munnar

Welcome to Kerala, "God own's country"!
Your driver will pick you up from the train station and take you uphill to one of the most picturesque tea plantations in India, Opulent with unique species of flora and fauna, Munnar’s extensive stretch of tea plantations is surrounded by high mountains and unspoiled valleys. The undulating terrain of Munnar is covered with forests and grasslands while the scented cool air is filled with the aroma of spices.
Take a well deserved rest and enjoy the Jungle Book view from the cozy room of your beautiful homestay set afar from the city center
Day 10 | Munnar
Today your guide will take you on a beautiful trek amidst the tea plantations and the lush greeen mountains of Munnar. Learn more about tea making and meet some local women at work plucking leaves. If you are lucky you could spot elephants walking through the narrow tea bushes...
Before sunset go for a guided walk in an organic spice plantation, sight pepper, cinamon, cocoa and many more.

Day 11 | The Backwaters - Kumarakom
You leave the hills to reach the plain of Palai, gateway to backwaters.
Kumarakom is the perfect place to slow down and experience the backwaters from shore at their most peaceful. Kumarakom is also one of the locations where Kerala tourism is implementing more sustainable measures: many hotels and tour companies are part of an initiative to minimise their environmental impact and make sure that products are procured locally where possible, helping to maximise the economic benefit that goes back to locals.
Join your eco resort in Kumarakom. Enjoy the peaceful environment from your porch, take a swim or go cycling in the nearby villages.
Rest and watch the sunset over the vast Vembanad Lake. Overnight at resort.
Day 12 | The Backwaters - Marari Beach
Today you discover with a local authentic villages living at the rhythm of the water during a tranquil canoe ride along the small canals. You are surrounded by water, paddy fields and coconut trees and it is a great way to get a sense of local life here.
Join your hotel in the afternoon on Marari beach and experience the white sand beach in the vicinity of your hotel.

Day 13 | Fort Kochi
It is time to reach your last destination, Fort Kochi. The city was an important spice trading centre on the West Coast of India from the 14th century. Occupied by the Portuguese and later by the Dutch, serene Kochi has been drawing traders and explorers to its shores for over 600 years. Nowhere in India could you find such a mix: giant fishing nets from China, a 400-year old synagogue, ancient mosques, Portuguese houses, and crumbling remains of the British Raj. Take the day to wander and feel age old charm ambiance of the city.

Day 14 | Fort Kochi - Delhi
After breakfast you driver takes you back to the airport.
Flight for Delhi.
According to your departure flight timings you will spend one more night in Delhi.
